On 21st of March 2015 Uniting for Peace hosted a AGM and Spring Conference. It was a Hustings / Election event and the title of the conference was “Britain’s Global Role in a Changing World”.

Distinguished speakers: Kerry Pollard Labour, Simon Nayyar – Conservative, Paul Reynolds – Lib Dem, Jean Lambert – Green, Philip Foster – UKIP, David Brown – Peace gave engaging presentations on the policies and manifestos of the respective parties. The event was ably chaired Rita Payne – Commonwealth Journalists Association. After the presentations the conference had vibrant Q&A session which included critical issues of peace, disarmament, jihadist extremism, violence and Britains role in the European Union. A networking session followed the event.
