Around 80 people gathered at House of Lords, London on 7th of November 2013 to discuss the ongoing conflicts and solutions for peace in Syria, Mali, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
Lord Frank Judd, Vice President of Uniting for Peace welcomed the audience and spoke eloquently about the ongoing conflicts in these regions. Distinguished speakers Jeremy Keenan Author, spoke on Mali, Makram Khoury-Machool Cambridge Scholar spoke on Syria, Kate Downey of Blind-i Campaign spoke on DRC, Vijay Mehta Chair Uniting for Peace spoke on Syria, Mali and DRC – is Peace possible ? and Brian Cooper spoke on religion and conflicts.
A vibrant question/answer session followed after the talks of the speakers.
