Uniting for Peace is hosting an Inter-Faith event on 4 July 2017 at the St. Mark’s Unitarian Church. The title of the event is “Inspirations for Peace-Making.” Distinguished speakers from different faith will speak at the event discussing peace and harmony and spiritual traditions in faiths. The speakers are: Dr. Farshid Namdaran (Zoroastrianism’s Early Insights for Peace and Harmony), Rev. Dr. Georgiana Cameron-Gaiduschek (Peace in Celtic Spiritual Tradition), Aurangzeb Haneef (Non-Violence in Islam). The event will also include a Peace Meditation by Sister Louisa Gupta of Brahma Kumaris Spiritual University. Refreshments will be provided after the event.
