A book discussion on Vijay Mehta’s book ‘The Economics of Killing’ hosted by Warwick Hub, Warwick University took place at Warwick Campus, Coventry on 5th March, 2013. The event kicked off with showing the film Change the World followed by a 20 minute talk by Vijay on the core message of the book, followed by vibrant Q/A session.
Among the engaging questions asked – Hasan raised a question of reasons for western countries for endlessly engaging in military interventions.
Salonee Jaidhara asked about globalisation and it’s affect on the bottom billion.
One of the interesting question asked by another student was capitalism and peace – are they compatible?
